Accommodation
 

The Woolshed is located just above Children's Bay in Akaroa Harbour and offers a different style of farm stay in Akaroa. It's the original Woolshed for the farm, which we have rustically restored using beams from a damaged building out of the earthquake in Christchurch as well as bricks from our family home in Christchurch. Old roofing iron from the hay shed has also been used around the fire places and in the shower. It's only a short walk into town and just a stone's throw to the start of the Rhino Walk.

There is a large outdoor fire, plenty of seating and amazing views out to the harbour and up into Children's Bay Park.

A mezzanine style sleeping area is above the downstairs living with a king-size bed and two singles, ideal for a special weekend getaway.

 

Events

If you are looking at a cool day our for a special group of people (up to 25) the Woolshed is a great option. We have a caterer who can work with your requirements for a range of different food experiences.
